Job Summary

Quantum Insights is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Officer to join our growing team. As an IT Officer you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our companys information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain the companys computer systems including hardware software and network infrastructure

- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations

- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades and improvements to optimize efficiency and security

- Develop and maintain IT policies procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect company data and information

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve the companys IT capabilities

- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions

- Train and support employees on the use of technology and software systems

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services

- Maintain inventory of hardware and software and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer systems networks and operating systems

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite cloud computing and cybersecurity

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proven ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
