Job Title: IT Audit Officer

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Audit Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits identifying potential risks and providing recommendations to improve the overall security and efficiency of our clients IT systems. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive IT audits of systems processes and procedures to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of current IT controls and make recommendations for improvements.

- Identify and assess potential risks to data security integrity and availability.

- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and clients.

- Collaborate with IT teams to implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of IT systems to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of IT systems processes and controls.

- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for IT security and risk management.

- Experience with audit tools and techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Professional certifications such as CISA CISSP or CRISC are preferred.
