Job Summary
Experienced Manufacturing Technician
We have an opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Honeywell in Edinburgh where you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment and use your knowledge to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
This is a full time permanent role with the following shift pattern:
Mondays - Thursdays 8:25am - 5:05pm Fridays 8:25am - 1:20pm

Key Responsibilities
- Hand assembly of Microwave Components using soldering techniques
- Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process
- Following detailed assembly instructions
- Microwave testing using network analysers and fault finding on microwave products
- Following detailed test instructions
- Carrying out visual quality checks and packing as well as labelling of finished parts
- Identify manufacturing improvements
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of microwave signals / electrical circuitry
- Previous experience working within an Assembly / Manufacturing environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven competence in a similar role
- Excellent dexterity and hand- eye co-ordination
