Job Summary

Job Purpose

You will be part of the team to provide casework and counselling services for families with the goal for families to achieve healthy family functioning and to deliver divorce support programmes and services to families who are affected by divorce with the goal for families and their children to achieve stability and self-reliance.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

CaseworkandCounselling

Part of the IntakeandTriage Team toconduct intake assessments for new intakestoidentifyneeds strengths and risks and make necessary referrals for clients.

Conduct counselling for individuals couples and families who are experiencing stress due tomarital andfamily-related issues.Includes Online counselling.

Conduct case management for clients and case conferences with stakeholders.

Identify assessment and manage risks inherent in low-moderate complex cases by integrating a range of information and screening tools.

SupportProgrammeandWorkshops

Planreviewand facilitategroupwork interventionfor parents and children.

Facilitatepremarital and divorce relatedprogramme and workshops to help equipcouples andparents with knowledgethat enhance relationships and skills to cope with life transitions.

Supervision

Provideprogramme and/ orpractice/clinicalsupervision tojuniorCounsellor/Social Workerand/or interns/Contract for Service Family Life Educatorsto ensureprogrammefidelity and quality service delivery

ResearchandPractice

Contribute to quality practice and professional matters in agency.

Engage in research to evaluate activities andidentifyservice gaps.

Facilitateinternal training for team / service point

Networking

Supportnetworking and advocacy sessionswith partners and stakeholders

Job Requirements

Degree in CounsellingORDegree in Social Work(preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling)

At least3 years of relevant casework / counselling experience in counselling social work or related work involving familyparentsand children and have experience in conducting training and workshop

Preferably clinical member of SAC
