Job Summary
The Data Analyst 2 works under minimal direction to analyze integrate and ensure the quality of data supporting Family History historical records. This role combines data analysis data quality stewardship and reporting with specialized expertise in Italian historical records and metadata including analysis of handwritten source material and creation of standardized documentation. Fluency in Italian (speaking reading and writing) is required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and integrate data from multiple systems to support reporting insights and decision-making.
- Ensure data quality consistency and usability through validation documentation and quality assurance.
- Organize and structure data and metadata including historical records from Italian archives.
- Create standardized metadata authority structures.
- Translate data and business needs into clear insights and written guidance in English and Italian.
- Support appropriate data access security and user adoption.
Qualifications
Education:
BS/BA Degree in mathematics statistics computer science or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years performing multiple system data validation quality assessments and configuration of reports and standardized dashboards
- Fluency in Italian (speaking reading and writing).
- Experience in data analysis data quality or data stewardship.
- Experience working with data from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with historical or archival records.
- Familiarity with Italian historical handwriting.
- Experience with data modeling querying or standardized reporting.
