Job Summary
Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care forclientsin theButler PA area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful connections and prefers a consistent weekday morning schedule and who has experience working with Dementia clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming toileting/incontinence care bathing and mobility support
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
- Assist with meal preparation light housekeeping and errands
- Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments outings or social events
- Monitor clients overall well-being and report any concerns
- Maintain a warm friendly and professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
- At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home carecaregiving or related field(Required)
- Valid drivers license car insurance and reliable transportation(Required)
- Must be at least 18 years old(Required)
- Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test(Required)
- Experience in healthcare home care assisted living independent living home health medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
