Crusher Opeartor

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of jaw and cone crushers to meet production targets
• Understanding of crushing systems; including pulley belts and conveyors to safely operate equipment
• Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
• Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition and reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
• Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
• Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company client and legislated safety policies and procedures including MSHA
• Maintain fall protection and hosting & rigging requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of previous plant crusher experience is preferred
• Experience operating 980/988 loaders
• Valid MSHA p. 48 metal/nonmetal is preferred
• Must have valid photo identification
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol
• Must be able to pass respirator fit test requirements

Work Conditions:

• 5 days on with 4 days off working 12-hour days that has the potential to alternate between a day and night shift rotation
• Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and are paid at time and a half
• Living out allowance provided for those who qualify
