Job Description

The Operations Director is the laboratorys lead for implementation and adoption of business operations and compliance facility management information technology (IT) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) finance and human resources (HR) as the NSPHL transitions into their new building. Reporting to the Laboratory Director this role will continue to lead the integration of the daytoday operational excellence regulatory readiness (CLIA/CAP) data integrity and workforce support across infectious disease chemistry and newborn screening programs. The Operations Director partners with laboratory leadership to align resources systems and infrastructure with public health mission needs supporting continuity of operations and emergency response through ICS/NIMS.

This is a 12-month temporary position.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and five years of related professional work experience OR

Masters Degree and three years of related professional work experience OR

Doctoral Degree and one year of related professional work experience
