ToyotasTaxDepartment is looking for a passionate and highly-motivatedTax Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tax analysis and research.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Tax Strategy the person in this role will support the Corporate Tax departments objective to proactively research and analyze tax opportunities for business decisions.
What youll be doing:
Works independently - review studies and identifies errors/concerns and research
Digs into detail and validate numbers before incorporating in analysis; places importance on accuracy before submitting work to manager
Proactively promotes and integrates Kaizen (continuous improvement) in all efforts
What you bring:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business
Experience in Fortune 100 Corporate Tax Department
Strong analytical skills with experience looking at financial statements data and transactions and consolidating it to key metrics
Ability to work collaboratively and independently across all levels of the company
Strong communication skills (verbal written presentation)
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions such as vLookups pivot tables data analysis tools and complex formulas
Added bonus if you have:
Graduate Degreewith emphasis inTax
Public Accounting experience
CPA License (or have started the exam process)
Big IV Accounting firm experience
Experience in continuous improvement using transformational technology and strong skills in systems similar to SAP PowerBI CorpTax Alteryx etc.
SQL scripting skills
