We are looking for a Field Service Technician to strengthen our Field Service Operations this hands-on role youll perform maintenance repair and commissioning services onboard vessels both while docked and underway supporting the reliable operation of incinerator and food waste systems.
What youll do
Youll be responsible for maintaining repairing and commissioning incinerator and food waste systems carrying out both mechanical and electrical service work onboard vessels. Youll provide professional technical support and customer service prepare accurate job reports and collect service data for analysis. The role requires flexibility as youll work independently or as part of a team in challenging marine environments.
What were looking for
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Valid passport drivers license and authorization to work in the U.S.
Comfort working onboard vessels including confined spaces and non-standard schedules
Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the marine industry
Strong mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read blueprints and schematics
Experience with PLCs hydraulics and diesel burners is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Clear communication skills in English and a customer-focused results-driven mindset
Physical ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
