Job Summary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience or 1 year with current company.
- Adequate reading math and legible writing skills.
- Physically able to walk stand bend reach for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to follow directions manage time and complete tasks within deadlines.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret comprehend and apply complex instructions and data.
- Comfortable working in typical warehouse environment with exposure to minor hazards solvents and cleaners.
- Able to lift tool cases and equipment up to 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 700 lbs.
- Frequent stooping bending squatting and kneeling required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehousing tasks (e.g. shipping receiving stocking order pulling material handling loading/unloading trucks).
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and handle multiple product types in a labor-intensive environment.
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards in the warehouse.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and all safety requirements (training provided).
- Work rapidly to meet deadlines and productivity/quality standards set by management.
- Learn and perform a variety of warehouse functions and processes.
- Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment (training as needed).
- Ensure proper completion and processing of all paperwork.
- Handle equipment valued from $1 to $150000 responsibly.
- Collaborate as part of a coordinated team to achieve department and operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
