This is a full-time permanent position starting April 2026 (or earlier by agreement) ideal for a teacher seeking to work in a highly academic and supportive environment.

Job Overview

The school is seeking a Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitably experienced candidates. Students are highly motivated curious and academically driven and the department places strong emphasis on practical investigation scientific reasoning and exam excellence.

Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Science across KS3KS4 (KS5 available if appropriate)
Delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting GCSE and A-Level exam preparation and intervention
Contributing to curriculum development and shared departmental resources
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour effort and achievement
Participating in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and competitions

Experience & Qualifications

Degree in a Science-related subject
PGCE with QTS

Paid to scale on MPS/UPS with potential additional responsibility for experienced candidates.
