At Jumbo Group we want people to learn have fun and be happy thanks to our amazing toys and games. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator Junior to join our dynamic team and make dreams come true!
The Project Coordinator will be part of the Product Development Team located in Barcelona and will be responsible for the project execution on the assigned categories assuring timings feasibility and cost. Projects can either be the development of a new product the adaptation of existing products (distribution) or an upgrade of an existing one (redesign).
To achieve this goal your functions will be the following:
- Working alongside group project coordinators on the project development plan for the coming year distributing the workload of the designers.
- Responsible for the managing of a specific line of projects being sure all the goals are fulfilled (timing cost quality)
- Generate specifications for projects according to the concept and keep them up to date.
- Manage the relationship between product development procurement and suppliers involved in the project (design agencies freelancers manufacturing suppliers).
- Collaborate in the development of projects looking for technical solutions and assuring feasibility and cost.
- Owner of the project timing assuring that all the deliverables are on time from concept to OK to production and involving the different stake holders (Brand managers Designers Procurement Quality ).
- Collaborate in NPD (New Product Development) process deployment and continuous improvement.
The knowledge you should bring to Jumbo Group to take our services to the next level is:
- Bachelor Master or any Diploma in product development engineering or any other related field with design.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Product development knowledge from preliminary stages to production.
- Development experience in cardboard and printing processes. Industrial design competences will be nice to have.
- Project management skills.
- Responsibility for deadlines.
- Ability to work on a variety of projects at the same time
- Affinity with Jumbo Group products. Knowledge of and experience with toy market is preferred.
- Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory.
- Adobe (Photoshop Illustrator Indesign) and Mircrosfot Office softwares experienced user.
