Job Summary
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a role where your skills make a real impact Join North West Private Hospital and be part of a team that keeps our facility running smoothly while delivering excellent service to staff patients and visitors.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be one of two Maintenance Technicians responsible for coordinating and performing all site maintenance. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with external contractor management ensuring statutory maintenance requirements are met budgets are adhered to and high-quality service is delivered at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and coordinate external maintenance contractors.
- Undertake hands-on maintenance tasks across various trades.
- Ensure compliance with legislative standards corporate policies and hospital budgets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
What Were Looking For
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Excellent general building maintenance skills e.g. painting etc
- Experience in commercial facility maintenance (healthcare experience highly desirable).
- Strong communication skillsoral written and computer literacy.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently prioritise tasks and adapt across multiple trade areas.
- Understanding of OH&S requirements and a commitment to quality improvement.
- Current unrestricted drivers license.
Highly Regarded Skills & Experience
- Trade qualification.
- Previous experience in a hospital maintenance environment.
- Contractor supervision experience
