Position Overview

Bermello Ajamil a Woolpert Company (BA) is hiringa highly experiencedSenior Marine Structural Engineer to support the firms heavy marine-related initiatives with a focus on cruise and cargo structural engineering. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with deep expertise in marine structures and a strong technical background.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and analysis of complex marine infrastructure and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices. This position involves direct interaction with subconsultants clients and senior leadership to ensure technical excellence and alignment with strategic goals.

What You Will Do:

As a Senior Marine Structural Engineerat BA you will:

Manage projects encompassing staffing scheduling budgeting and deliverables.
Lead engineering analysis and design for marine structures.
Develop plans specifications and construction documentation.
Develop technical reports and provide senior level review of technical work products.
Prepare and review technical reports and engineering deliverables.
Conduct condition assessments of port and maritime facilities.
Contribute to proposal development including technical approach scope and pricing.

What You Will Bring:

Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license and NCEES Record.
Eligibility to apply for PE licensure in Florida and New York upon hire.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marine structural engineering.
Strong leadership technical and analytical capabilities.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in computer-aided design and engineering software.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
