About your role:
At Fiserv we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional I you will play a critical role in designing developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Experience:

812 years overall with strong expertise in design development and troubleshooting across the full SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain high-quality scalable Java applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design.
• Hands-on coding debugging and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
• Implement best practices for coding standards performance optimization and security.
• Work on reducing technical debt and improving code quality using tools like SonarQube and Fortify.
• Support production systems and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Technical Expertise

• Core Technologies:
  • Java 8
  • UI frameworks: Angular 8 or similar (ReactJS etc.)
  • Application frameworks: Spring Boot Quarkus ORM frameworks
  • Microservices architecture
• Web Services: REST SOAP JSON XML
• Tools: Putty SOAPUI Postman
• DevOps: GitLab or similar CI/CD tools
• Cloud Platforms: experience in any one platform ( AWS Azure GCP )
• Code Quality & Security: SonarQube Fortify WebInspect
• Design Patterns & Architecture: SOA Microservices Event-driven programming Hexagonal architecture
• Build Tools: Maven Ant Gradle
• Project Management & Documentation: JIRA Confluence
