We are located in an up-and-coming area of Pickering our plaza offers many interesting vendors including banks restaurants a dollar store Planet Fitness and a Montessori Daycare. Pickering Animal Hospital provides a supportive and collaborative work environment many of our team members have been with us for well over 10 years and some of our clients have been with us for as long as 30 years. We all have a strong desire to make work both fun and meaningful.
The Assistant Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring team members deliver a high standard of client care while building positive client relationships. They along with the facility director and practice manager ensure practice compliance with standard operating procedures hospital protocol and all regulatory authorities. The PM manages the scheduling program that is aligned with budget approving payroll vacation and scheduling locum doctors as needed. This person conducts accounting and payable responsibilities and has oversight of inventory management while monitoring performance against established monthly key performance indicators. The PM will coach and manage the team outlining performance expectations and providing feedback while promoting an environment of collaboration and respect.
