NDENDT Rope Access Technician (CGSB UT2MT2PT2 or combination)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections interpret findings and report results in accordance with company requirements.
• Use Rope Access techniques (per IRATA standards) to access elevated or confined locations.
• Perform NDE testing on weld pipelines pressure vessels tanks and other infrastructure.
• Generate NDE and inspection reports.
• Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following safety standards regulations and best practices.
• Perform assigned duties in line with MISTRAS core values and procedures.
• Ensure NDE certification is up to date (CGSB UT2 MT2 PT2 Etc.).
• Carry out inspections within your certification scope.

Qualifications

• CGSB certified in one or more NDE methods.
• IRATA Level 1 2 or 3 - or interested in completing an IRATA Level 1 course.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer systems.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Ability to follow instructions maintain focus and multitask efficiently.
• Willingness to travel to site.
• Must submit a valid drivers license a 3-year driving abstract and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test prior to site access.

Essential Job Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights
