Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain relational database schemas aligned with business and application requirements.
Develop and manage complex database objects including:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Packages
- Triggers
Work extensively on advanced database features such as:
- Table Partitioning
- Database Links
- Materialized Views
- Ref Cursors
- External Tables
- Collections
- Dynamic SQL
Implement and support file handling mechanisms using database scripts.
Perform SQL query optimization and tuning to improve performance and scalability.
Manage and support database job scheduling and batch processing.
Handle and manage time-series data efficiently ensuring performance and data integrity.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
Ensure database reliability scalability and maintainability through best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in database design and development.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle PL/SQL and/or PostgreSQL (pgPL/SQL).
Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Experience with batch job scheduling and automated database processes.
Solid understanding of time-series data management concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical database designs.
