Position Summary:

Thisisntyour basic coffee run internship. This isGSD&M Daze of Summer.Come spendyour summer days in a daze as you experience our fast-paced creative environment for yourself. Hereyoullactually beworking alongside our talentedteams. From creative and account leadership to strategy and analytics and beyond you can expect a real hands-on competitive experience.

Details:

What: Paid 40hr/week summer intern program

When: Tuesday June2nd - Friday August7th

Where: Austin TX Hybrid: In office (Tues Wed Thurs) / Remote (Mon Fri)

Who: Any college junior/senior/grad level students and recent graduates


Program Highlights:

Agency Experience - Acquire hands-on real work ad agency experience

Intern Team Project - Collaborate on a cross-departmental group project

Lunch & Learns - Gain insights into the role of each agency discipline

Group Gatherings - Join in meet-ups with fellow interns and agency staff


Job Highlights:

As a MediaStrategyInternyou will:


-Use research tools to understand target audiences analyze market trends and gather insights for media plans

-Identifycultural trends that will be important towardsestablishinga personal connection with our target audience

-Support POVs and The Future Of content creation toestablishthought leadership work

-Assistin writing case studies to highlight our best work

-Use data toestablishreach and frequency benchmarks that will supportclientsbusiness goals

-Assistincreatingmedia plansflowcharts and managing budgets for campaigns

-Stay updated on new platforms technologies and advertising innovations

Skills:
-Familiarity of social media platforms (Instagram Facebook TikTokX Snapchat LinkedIn Reddit) connected TV platforms and emerging platforms (e.g. gaming audio)
-Strong writing experience
-Strong desk research skills and ability to use AI to speed up research

Requirements:

Candidates must be enrolled as a junior senior or graduate-level student in college OR recent college graduate (less than 1 year since graduation)

Experience with secondary research platforms (Mintel KANTAR etc.) is nice to have but not required

Experience with social listening & analytics platforms (BrandwatchTalkwalker etc.) is nice to have but not required

Must be available during thelength of the program (6/2/26 8/7/26) and able to come into the GSD&M Austin offices at least 3 days a week.Optionto work offsite on Mondays and Fridays.

Must be able to work full-time40 hoursper week.
