Speech and Language Assistant What the Role Involves

  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group speech and language interventions

  • Supporting classroom learning by promoting language-rich environments

Speech and Language Assistant What the School is Looking For
The ideal Speech and Language Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK University and have previous child-centred experience particularly within education SEN or therapeutic settings. The school is seeking a proactive compassionate and reflective Speech and Language Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in speech and language development. A willingness to learn and engage fully in school life is essential.

Speech and Language Assistant Salary and Contract Info

  • 444 per week pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time long-term contract
  • Term-time only
  • Potential for extended contracts following a successful placement
