Role Description:
Test Automation
Commercial lines - Property & Casualty
API Automation Tester
Designing and executing against the project Test Strategy
Responsible for providing status updates escalations and reporting via metrics to project team.
Responsible for reviewing user stories requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback from a Quality Assurance Perspective.
Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases and review the same for the project delivery test team.
Design develop and execute scripts.
Design and develop Automation Framework enhancement of existing framework.
Create Test case Test data and Test execution.
Responsible for detailed regression testing and ensure test artifacts are current.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers business analysts scrum masters product owners) and provide perspective from a Testing focus.
Ensure that all the deliverables are met.
Ability to meet challenging deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
A team player and able to be a positive influence on a team.
Performing all aspects of verification including functional regression integration and end-to-end testing.
Testing new feature logging defects and validating defect fixes.
Being the voice of quality raising issues when needed and highlighting risks.
Delivering timely estimates of testing tasks and scope work.
Design and execute manual test plans and test scripts for complete modules and/or workflows.
Work closely with software developers and Business Analysts to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality.
Use JIRA to execute and modify test cases and log bugs.

Requirements:
Technical experience in test automation and in design and development of automation frameworks covering different technology and application platforms.
Deep understanding experience of automation development tool sets (e.g. Selenium Cucumber SOAP UI JSON)
Experience in implementing test automation development efforts in an Agile Scrum development environment.
Good technical writing skills and ability to describe clearly complex processes and tasks.
Proven work experience with Digital Automation Testing (Cross Browser Mobile)
Clear verbal written communication skills in English
Great attitude and work ethic.
General understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the importance of testing process in ensuring quality and reliable releases.
Strong communication skills with a willingness to convey ideas and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Have strong problem-solving skills that allow them to test software identify bugs and solve errors. Flexibility and adaptability to react to changing priorities and effectively manage changing expectations in a calm professional and pleasant manner.
Aptitude in IT with an interest in experience

Required Skills:

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
