This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of automated solutions within industrial environments. The successful candidate will work alongside multidisciplinary professionals to deliver technical solutions guide project activities and support both internal teams and external stakeholders.
The experience you will bring includes:
- 10 years of experience working in automation controls or related technical engineering roles
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineering designation (.) in Canada or eligibility for registration is considered an asset
- Experience working within industrial project environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting collaborative project teams
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Supporting the preparation and review of technical documentation and project deliverables
- Working with internal engineering teams to coordinate technical activities
- Participating in discussions with stakeholders regarding project requirements and solutions
- Providing guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members when required

A 3-year diploma or degree in electrical mechatronics or software engineering or equivalent is required. A degree is preferred. Registered with PEO and holds a Professional Engineering License () or equivalent in Canada is preferred. Experience in specifying new automated systems for green field mines and mining plants considered an asset. Extensive knowledge in commissioning of large systems a critical requirement. Strong industrial experience with experience in surface and underground mining. Knowledge of mining-related processes a definite asset. Strong analytical skills. Strong project management skills considered an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong commitment to safety quality and sustainable design practices. Valid drivers license with access to a personal vehicle is required.
