Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled E-Commerce Web Developer to design develop and maintain high-performing scalable and secure online stores for our brand partner. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across various e-commerce platforms and a solid understanding of best practices in user experience (UX) performance optimization and secure online transactions. This role is critical in driving online sales and ensuring a seamless customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Develop customize and maintain stable e-commerce websites utilizing major platforms (e.g. Shopify WooCommerce Magento) or custom solutions.
Implement responsive user-friendly and conversion-focused front-end designs.
Integrate and configure essential e-commerce components including payment gateways shipping solutions and third-party APIs (e.g. inventory CRM).
Optimize website performance speed and scalability for high-traffic periods.
Ensure website security data protection and strict adherence to PCI compliance standards.
Troubleshoot test and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Collaborate closely with internal designers marketers and client stakeholders to align development with business goals.
Maintain and update product catalogs pricing and promotional mechanics as needed.

Requirements

Experience: 3 years of professional experience in e-commerce web development.
Platform Expertise: Proven track record with at least one major e-commerce platform (Shopify WooCommerce/WordPress Magento BigCommerce).
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript (including modern frameworks like React or ) and server-side languages (e.g. PHP Python or Ruby).
Database: Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL).
APIs: Extensive experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs.
Version Control: Solid understanding and practical experience with Git/GitHub.
Optimization: Knowledge of SEO best practices site speed optimization techniques and web analytics tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities communication skills and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
