Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by installing repairing rebuilding and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring machinery reliability minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain troubleshoot and repair mechanical and production equipment
- Perform equipment rebuilds and upgrades to improve reliability and performance
- Participate in scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule
- Collaborate daily with production teams and maintenance leadership regarding equipment status
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and operational issues across multiple systems
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions
- Serve as a technical resource to equipment operators during troubleshooting
- Evaluate assigned projects plan repairs and execute work within defined timelines
- Anticipate risks and operational impacts before performing repairs or modifications
- Ensure equipment is fully tested and operational following maintenance activities
- Order necessary parts materials tools and supplies
- Help control maintenance costs while maintaining quality and reliability standards
- Maintain accurate communication regarding plant conditions impacting safety cost or production
- Promote strong working relationships and open communication across teams
- Stay current with evolving maintenance technologies and industry best practices
- Follow all plant safety procedures housekeeping requirements and work rules
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with hydraulics pneumatics motors drives conveyors or automated equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals schematics and equipment documentation
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
$28 - $31 an hour
