We are looking for an innovative and result-oriented leader to join our R&D leadership team as Head of Business Operations R&D. In this role you will oversee large transformation initiatives to streamline R&D operating models through agile ways of working across complex multi-disciplinary environments.

As Head of Business Operations you will manage a large and diverse team of around 40 professionals primarily based at our HQ in Ballerup. You will report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and set the strategic direction for our transformation across R&D.

In this role you will implement innovation through agile methodologies change management and strategic technology integration. You will focus on building organizations and operating models that enable speed scalability and sustainable impact.

Your contribution is appreciated and you will:

  • Own and continuously evolve the R&D operating model (SAFe) across the full organisation to ensure alignment with GNs overall business strategy.

  • Direct operational strategy planning and execution for R&D including resource management forecasting and decision support for effective prioritization.

  • Develop long-term workforce capability and capacity planning to ensure R&D has the right skills and roles to support current and future business needs.

  • Establish and manage a robust R&D performance framework including strategic goals KPIs metrics tools and systems to measure the impact of R&D investments and initiatives.

  • Manage key transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency scalability and innovation in R&D.

  • Develop and expand agile methods within R&D by encouraging lean-agile practices enhancing coaching in agile frameworks and unifying training protocols.

  • Ensure standardization and seamless integration of processes technologies and tools across R&D to improve end-to-end value delivery flow.

  • Ensure robust governance risk management and compliance while securing alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. Operations DDI and business divisions) in support of the R&D transformation.

To perform well in the role we imagine that you:

  • Have a degree in engineering or a related field

  • Have extensive experience leading transformations and implementing large agile practices preferably SAFe

  • Have extensive stakeholder management and collaboration skills

  • Can communicate complex challenges in a simple benefit-oriented way

  • Are inspired to contribute meaningfully and uncover solutions

  • Have proficient motivation and business acumen

  • Have effective leadership skills
