Job Description
An established multi-site business based in North Yorkshire is recruiting a Finance Business Partner.
The role offers a broad hands-on remit and will suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working close to the operation and partnering with senior stakeholders.
The role
Working closely with senior leadership this position combines financial control with commercial insight. You will support planning performance reporting and decision-making across the business with exposure to both operational and strategic activity.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who prefers a pragmatic fast-moving environment and enjoys having visibility and influence.
Key responsibilities
Budgeting forecasting and financial planning activity
Month-end reporting with clear practical insight
Financial accounting responsibilities including year-end processes
Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
Review of performance and identification of improvement opportunities
Preparation of management and board-level reporting
Oversight of tax compliance
Development of an Assistant Accountant
Use of data and KPIs to support decision-making
About you
Qualified accountant ACA ACCA or CIMA preferred
Experience across both financial and management accounting
Practice-trained candidates welcome
Confident communicator with non-finance stakeholders
Hands-on adaptable and commercially focused
Package
Salary 45000 to 55000
