Job Summary
This role is responsible for understanding the organizations offerings conducting clients needs assessments and offering technical support during the sales process. The role collaborates with internal teams to contribute to proposal development negotiations sales pipeline management and sales forecasting. The role stays updated with the industry trends and guides junior team members to enhance their sales and consulting skills.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organizations products and services while explaining product features and benefits to potential customers.
Offers technical expertise and support to the account managers in identifying potential clients nurturing leads and driving revenue growth.
Conducts thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges and offer tailored solutions.
Contributes to proposal development negotiations and deal closings by providing technical expertise pricing information and other critical inputs to secure business deals.
Manages sales pipelines by tracking leads opportunities and sales prospects through various stages of the sales process and identifies improvement areas.
Maintains strong relationships with existing clients providing ongoing support addressing client concerns and actively seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Interfaces with both internal teams and external industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate the development of tailored solutions.
Contributes to sales forecasting efforts by providing insights and data on potential sales opportunities expected timelines and revenue projections.
Attends industry events and seminars to stay updated on new techniques and technologies and continuously adapt in a rapidly changing business environment to enhance their sales efforts.
Guides junior team members to help them enhance their sales and consulting skills and support their professional growth.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales Marketing Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience preferably in technical selling consultative selling account management or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
