Media Operations Manager The Media Operations Manager provides day-to-day operational leadership for Ligoniers media production team ensuring smooth execution of all recurring and project-based work. Working closely with the Director of Creative Innovation and cross-department leaders the Media Operations Manager will drive project prioritization organization clarity and accountability across the Media team while managing production backlog schedules workflows and cross-functional communication. Responsibilities Daily Operational Leadership - Lead daily standups and weekly sprint planning.
- Assign work with clear expectations deadlines and accountability.
- Monitor team workload and rebalance assignments as needed.
- Remove blockers and resolve operational issues for editors audio engineers and producers.
- Cultivate a culture of organization follow-through and ownership.
Project Intake Prioritization and Scheduling - Own and maintain the Media team production backlog within Wrike.
- Prioritize recurring work and new project requests based on impact deadlines and available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-department leaders and Media team leaders to develop timelines and milestones.
- Facilitate clear intake for new requests and communicate priority decisions to stakeholders.
- Track progress and provide regular schedule and status updates to leadership including visibility into deprioritized work.
Workflow Systems Quality Control and Continuous Improvement - Partner with Media team leaders to define and document SOPs for recurring production workflows.
- Partner with the Technical Producer to align technical and operational workflows.
- Improve systems for handoffs versioning delivery specifications and review cycles.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Ensure deliverables consistently meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications Required - Strong alignment with the mission theology and teaching of Ligonier Ministries
- 5 years of experience in media operations creative operations or production management
- 3 years of experience managing other leaders or senior contributors
- Proven ability to lead day-to-day production teams with measurable results
- Strong understanding of video audio event AV and podcast production workflows
- Strong project management skills including backlog management scheduling and resource planning
- Experience using work management platforms such as Wrike Airtable Jira etc
- Highly organized detail-oriented and process-driven
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred - Experience with sprint-based or agile-inspired workflows
- Background in broadcast podcasting creative agency or high-volume content teams
- Familiarity with Premiere Resolve Pro Tools Audition or similar tools
- Experience building SOPs and workflow standards for media teams
- Broad working knowledge of media production and AV technology
- Knowledge of your Working Genius assessment is valuable. Candidates are encouraged to take that assessment and include results in their application.
This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford FL. At this time we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
The pay range for this position is $82000 - $95000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience geographic location and organizational needs.
