Position Purpose:
The PCA under the direction of a registered nurseis responsible fordirect patient care considering age specific developmentalculturaland spiritual needs. Theyassistinestablishingand maintaining a patient care environment that is cleansafeand conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.
Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success. The PCAassistspatientin completing ADLsincluding:Bathing showering toileting positioning turning transferring ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection. They are responsibleto recordpatient information and required data in appropriate areasin order tomeet documentation requirements.

We support our employees with a focused orientation and trainingaboutour equipmentprocessesand procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units which means more manageable patient ratios. Atrium East (Med/Surg)
Atrium and Courtyard Rehab(Inpatient Rehabilitation)
Courtyard East (Med/Surgand Head Pain)
Emergency
Shifts Available:NightShift 7pm-7:30am
Status Available:Full time benefit eligible (72 hoursper pay period every two weeks)
Every third weekend andholiday rotation
Required Qualifications
High school diploma GED or a minimum of 18 years of age.
Patient Care experience in a hospital environment
Ability tolift upto 35 pounds withoutassistance lifting greater than 35 pounds using mechanicalassistance
