Mechanical Inspector/ Dimensional Inspector/ Quality Inspector/ Machine Shop Inspector
A Mechanical Inspector is required to join a well-established heavy engineering and manufacturing business. Due to continued workload and long-term production demand the business is looking for an experienced Inspector to support dimensional and visual inspection activities across the machine shop ensuring products meet customer drawings specifications and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Package:
- 15.22 per hour
- 38 hours a week
- Double day rotating shift

Mechanical Inspector/ Dimensional Inspector/ Quality Inspector/ Machine Shop Inspector
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of finished components raw materials and tooling
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Complete inspection reports
- Carry out bend run-out and wall thickness checks on shafts
- Manage and update calibration records for measuring equipment
- Use overhead cranes
- Must be able to commute to Halesowen
Mechanical Inspector/ Dimensional Inspector/ Quality Inspector/ Machine Shop Inspector
- Previous experience working as an Inspector
- Strong experience using conventional measuring equipment
- Ability to work with an electronic measuring arm
- Able to work rotating double day shifts
