Job Summary

Our client a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Cut Shop Operative to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with CNC experience to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery including Plasma and Press Brake machines to cut fold and shape sheet metal into required forms.
Manufacture components in accordance with detailed technical engineering drawings.
Work to production schedules to maximise output and efficiency.
Ensure all finished materials meet strict quality standards.
Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in a similar CNC or metal fabrication role is essential.
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage daily workload effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Reliable dependable and committed to workplace safety.
A valid forklift licence would be advantageous though not essential.

Visa & English Language Requirement
Applicants must either:

Hold a valid UKVI IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening Reading Writing and Speaking) or
Be willing to obtain the UKVI IELTS and achieve a minimum score of 5.5 in each section as part of the recruitment and visa process.
