About the role

Dan y Bryn is set in beautiful landscaped surroundings in the small village of Ynysmeudwy on the outskirts of Pontardawe. Were known for our excellent reputation as a quality and valued care provider where the needs of our residents are always at the heart of what we do.

As a Team Leader youll play a key role in supporting both residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Motivating and leading the care team to provide exceptional support.
• Ensuring safety and well-being by following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Supervising & mentoring Care Workers to help them develop and thrive.
• Maintaining records and documenting any concerns accurately.

Skills and Experience Needed

• At least 2 years experience in a care worker role
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
• Experience in implementing and updating care plans risk assessments and audits.
• Leadership experience including team management supervision and conducting annual appraisals.

• 26315 FTE
