Job Summary

SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION: St. Pauls School in Concord New Hampshire is a completely residential co-educational secondary school affiliated with the Episcopal Church and welcoming to people of all faiths. St. Pauls School seeks innovative experienced educators who are eager to participate in the academic athletic and co-curricular life of this dynamic residential community in our dedication to the pursuit of excellence in character and scholarship for our students.

DESCRIPTION: St. Pauls seeks the newest member of its College Advising faculty to begin duties in the summer of 2026. The search will have a wide set of parameters for candidates from a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to a seasoned veteran looking for a new and exciting opportunity. College Advisers at St. Pauls are full-time members of the faculty with all associated responsibilities involved in working at a fully residential school. SPS college advisers are responsible for working closely with students parents and colleagues in higher education in person via teleconference and on the phone. The job places an emphasis on teamwork as well as excellent writing and interpersonal skills. College advisers participate in regional and national conferences visit schools host fairs and meetings with college representatives and maintain availability by phone or email year-round as necessary.

In addition to advising responsibilities faculty at St. Pauls School are responsible for a variety of activities typical in a boarding school environment including advising dormitory association coaching committee work and other duties. As with all positions St. Pauls Schools seeks educators who will embrace the fully residential living experience and have a demonstrated gift for engaging a diverse student body and strengthening the St. Pauls School inclusive community.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree welcomed.

Skill set: Strong interpersonal skills; proficiency and expertise as a high-volume writer; excellent public speaking and communication skills; collaborative approach to working with a team; ability to manage various professional responsibilities simultaneously; patience; commitment to supporting the mission and values of the College Advising Office and the School.

Experience: At least 3-5 years of college advising and/or college admission experience. As a part of residential boarding school the candidate must be committed to working and living with adolescents and supporting their academic social and emotional growth.

Salary: Competitive based on experience.
