Job Summary

Description

We are currently looking for a Non-CDL Driver to join our Madison WI team with a start time of 6:00am. In this role you will drive a Non-CDL straight truck transporting dry loads to customer locations throughout the local branch area. You will also be responsible for material handling duties when not performing driving duties based on a delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

Drive straight truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy
Deliver and unload products to customer locations in a timely manner
Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Provide excellent customer service
Pull product load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties
Back up other delivery routes when needed
Operate forklift and other machinery as needed
All other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Experience in delivery driving customer service or other related field
Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
A valid drivers license and a good driving record per company insurance policy
Federal Medical card required can acquire after job offer is accepted company sponsored
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)
Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse equipment and work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
Willing to work overtime as needed
