Used Car Buyer Honda West

Summary:

The Used Car Buyer will have a primary responsibility of executing a process which involves prospecting appraising and presenting offers to current vehicle owners with the goal of purchasing their vehicles from multiple sources for resale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for calling following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles.
• Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.
• Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle.
• Approach greet and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.
• Appraise used vehicles by asking questions taking pictures of the vehicles and inputting vehicle data into Sonics automated inventory management system.
• Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller.
• Introduces guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle.
• Review monthly goals with management on vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive purchasing acquisitions and appraisals.
• Strong ability to engage with customers effectively build rapport and address their needs and concerns professionally.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone.
• Ability to persistently pursue leads maintaining a positive attitude throughout.
• Comfortable using CRM software and productivity tools to manage leads and track progress.

Required:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.

Additional Information :

Compensation (Draw / Commission):

• Performance-based earnings range: $60000 - 120000 / year
  • Actual earnings depend on performance. High-performing professionals who consistently meet and exceed store and corporate goals.

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Sundays Always Off
• Saturday Availability Required
