Job Summary
Through the direction of the Team Leader or Lead Person this individual is responsible for properly performing the match operation required for proper assembly. The majority of products involve hand assembly but must be able to operate other various assembly equipment in the department. Must be able to obtain certain information from a blueprint. This employee must frequently use various measuring devices to accurately maintain proper sizes and tolerances. Most work is repetitive in nature and follows routing prescribed methods but some skill and judgment is involved in selecting correct sizes. This individual is also responsible for the movement of material product or components to and/or from other productions areas.
This individual is responsible for minimizing scrap and rework maintaining accurate production records and quickly identifying issues that may prohibit production and reporting those issues to the Lead or their Team Leader. The work areas must be kept clean and neat; and may be assigned simply routing preventive maintenance of equipment. Attendance at work is an essential function of the position.
