Are you an experienced organiser with exceptional diary management skills This 12-month secondment offers the chance to support the Director of Adult Social Care & Health (ASCH) the Lead Member of ASCH and the Programme Director for East Sussex Health & Care Transformation in a fast-paced environment ensuring smooth operations and handling sensitive matters with professionalism. This role is responsible for delivering highlevel executive support to the Director of Adult Social Care & Health (ASCH) the Lead Member of ASCH and the Programme Director for East Sussex Health & Care Transformation enabling them to focus on strategic leadership and informed decisionmaking. You will manage complex diaries maintain effective information and correspondence systems and oversee the PA team who support the departments Assistant Directors and Heads of Service. The role involves working closely with senior leaders handling confidential and sensitive issues and representing the Chief Officer in daily communications. This is a valuable opportunity to build organisational insight develop leadership and prioritymanagement skills and play a pivotal part in supporting strategic leadership across the department.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear written information and work confidently with senior leaders partners and stakeholders.
  • Are highly organised able to prioritise a busy workload manage deadlines and maintain effective administrative and information systems.
  • Possess excellent ICT and secretarial skills including confident use of Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) and digital tools to support diary email and meeting management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sensitivity.
  • Are proactive able to use their own initiative and comfortable problemsolving in a fast-paced environment.
