Senior Applications Administrator

We are seeking an experiencedSeniorApplications Administrator tohelpmanage andmaintainour critical business applications infrastructure. This roleis responsible forensuring the reliability security andoptimalperformance of our enterprise collaboration and development platforms including GitLab Jira Confluence Teamwork CloudSyndeia and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Application Management & Maintenance

• As part of a team to administer andmaintainkey Enterprise Applications suchasGitLab Jira Confluence Teamwork Cloud andSyndeiaplatforms

• Perform regular system updates patches and version upgrades across all applications

• Monitor system performance capacity and availability to ensureoptimaluptime

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issuesin a timely manner

Configuration & Optimization

• Configure and customize applications to meet organizational needs

• Manage user accounts permissions and access controls

• Optimizesystem performance and resourceutilization

• Develop andmaintainintegration between various platforms

• Create andmaintainsystem documentation and standard operating procedures

Security & Compliance

• Implement andmaintainsecurity best practices across all applications

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Support & Collaboration

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders on system requirements

• Participate in change management and release planning processes

• Work with vendors and support teams to resolve complex issues

• Document processes configurations and troubleshooting procedures

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 7 years of experience in systems administration or similar role

• 3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise application management

Technical Skills

• Required:

• Strong experience with GitLab administration (repositories CI/CD pipelines runners)

• Proficiencywith Atlassian suite (Jira Confluence) administration

• Linux/Unix& Windowssystem administration

• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS load balancing proxies)

• Database management (PostgreSQL MySQL or similar)

• Scripting skills (Bash Python or PowerShell)

StronglyPreferred:

• Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Configuration management tools (Ansible Puppet)

• Experience with Teamwork Cloud andSyndeiaplatforms

• Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

• LDAP/Active Directory integration

• API integration and REST services

Soft Skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Customer service orientation

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130000 to $175000

The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors such as but not limited to the candidates experience education training key skills/critical skills security clearances and prevailing market and business conditions.
