Job Summary
The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Yield Accounting Supervisor on a temporary up to 10-month basis on our Production Planning team.
This position requires on-site work and is based at our Refinery Business Office in Regina SK.

What youll do:
- Oversee the Yield Accounting function providing critical volumetric data for operational and financial performance resolving balance issues and ensuring timely accurate reporting and analysis.
- Lead and supervise a team of yield accountants/clerks managing daily operations staff development performance evaluations and recruitment while ensuring adherence to HR policies and the collective agreement.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments by facilitating issue resolution aligning yield data with operational goals and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Play a key role in transitioning yield accounting processes to a modern data reconciliation software platform developing best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Drive data collection and analysis for economic reporting including Solomon and Greenhouse Gas reporting and maintain centralized KPI tracking to support operational and regulatory objectives.

The Team: You will oversee a team of 2 accountants and 2 clerks and will report to the Senior Manager of Production Planning.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have 3 years of experience in yield or production accounting in a related industry. Experience supervising a team is strongly preferred.
- Have a bachelors degree in commerce or science (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Ideally have knowledge in refinery operations and hydrocarbon mass balancing.
