Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with ship owners ship managers superintendents and ship chandlers

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and follow-ups

  • Handle sales negotiations enquiries and deal closures efficiently

  • Drive new business development and sales hunting activities

  • Prepare monthly sales reports forecasts and market analysis

  • Plan and execute sales action plans to secure leads and prospects

  • Lead and mentor a team of indoor sales coordinators providing guidance on sales issues

  • Represent the company at marine exhibitions and industry events

  • Manage client meetings correspondence and relationship-building activities

  • Travel locally and regionally to support business growth

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in Business Sales or Marketing

  • 46 years of sales experience in gas detection products or systems within the marine industry

  • Strong experience dealing with marine stakeholders is highly advantageous

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities

  • Performance-driven target-oriented and able to work independently

  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Able to manage pressure in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Willing to travel regionally (approximately 30%)

  • Immediate or short notice availability is a plus
