Job Summary
Director of IT (Construction-Adjacent Environment)
Were seeking a hands-on IT Director to lead technology operations for a rapidly growing acquisition-driven service organization. This role will be the first dedicated internal IT leader responsible for consolidating systems managing MSPs and building a scalable IT foundation that supports field-based project-driven operations.
Must Have
Construction-adjacent industry experience
Strong understanding of job costing project scheduling and timekeeping systems
What Youll Do
Own the IT roadmap governance and vendor strategy
Manage and optimize MSP relationships and service delivery
Oversee infrastructure cloud security and end-user environments
Lead post-acquisition system consolidation and standardization
Support ERP and core business applications
Serve as the primary IT partner to executive leadership
Establish processes policies and performance metrics
What Were Looking For
10 years of progressive IT experience
Broad knowledge of infrastructure networking security and cloud
Strong MSP and vendor management background
Experience integrating acquired companies into a standardized environment
Excellent communicator with strong business partnership skills
Willingness to travel monthly across Western U.S. locations
Nice to Have
Microsoft-centric environments experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Background in PE-backed or high-growth organizations
