Responsibilities
We areseeking a highly experienced ChiefOperationsandIntegrationEngineer to serve as the technical engineering lead and point of contact (POC) for amissioncritical programdeveloping acutting-edgecapability for Space Systems Command. The ideal candidate will apply deepexpertisein engineering principles to assess requirements develop engineered designs and oversee technical execution. This role requires strong leadership the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaboratewith various stakeholders including government and contractor personnel.This position entails providing overarching guidanceand technical direction for the program to ensure seamless developmentand operation execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Chief Engineer and primary technical POC for the program.
- Oversee all SEIT Software development and GEP development and integration
- Represent the program as the primary engineering POC to the Customer
- Apply engineering principles to assess requirements develop design plans and ensure technical feasibility.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to foster support for programobjectives.
- Oversee project efforts to ensure technical executionremainson schedule and within budget.
- Work with PMO and TPOCs to define technical requirements schedules performance criteria and project kick-off briefings readiness reviews update program deliverables.
- Provide recommendations based on technical assessments and present findings to key decision-makers.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentationin support of Customer requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers as needed.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across technical teams.
- Support the PMO by conducting programmatic and technical evaluationsandintegration test events.
- Manage multiple projectsat varying stages of completionand prioritizationeffectively.
- Hostand attendCustomer meetingssuch readiness reviewsand test eventsasrequired.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience may have supervisory or lead experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- At least 7 years of experience reviewing technical schedule and budgetary aspects of projects.
- At least 7 years of experience developing technical requirements schedules FTE estimates performance criteria CDRL definitions and project kick-off briefings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Expertiseintheory ofspaceoperations performance characteristics vulnerability and employment ofResilientMissile Warning and Tracking (MWT) systems.
- Experience leadinganalysis evaluation and assessmentofdefensivespacesystems and technologies.
- Proven ability tooversee engineering effortsrelated toResilientMWTthe correspondingground segmentdesignand integrationto include designdevelopmentand maintenance.
- Understanding ofOpen Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC)anditsimplementation.

- Knowledge of Resilient MWT Systems and the correlating Ground Segments.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of agile development process and ability to adjust based onevolving requirements
- Understanding of Risk Management processesassessment andmitigation techniques
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts and a proven ability to integrate those concepts into an engineering solution
- Understanding of the development of engineering documentation such as a Systems Requirements documentationand CI/CD pipeline documentations REVTM
- Familiarization with OPIR ground segments
- Familiarization of FMIL-STD-882E and developing On-Orbit Hazard Analysis Safety Assessment Reports

Target Salary Range
$104000 - $166000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
