Title: MEP Engineer Intern
Reports to: MEP Manager
Summary of Position: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) team with estimating plan review bidding & buyout and commissioning.
Typical Duties:
MEP Plan Review
Estimate Takeoffs
Create MEP scope statements
Jobsite QA/QC for MEP installs
Work with the commissioning authority to assist with the commissioning process
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Interest in learning about construction & Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing systems
Solid computer skills especially the Microsoft Office Suite scheduling software (MS Project P6 or Suretrak) and exposure to project management software (CMiC or similar program)
Proactive takes initiative on all projects possesses a willingness to learn and develop in their professional career
Problem solver solutions-oriented
Position Status: Summer intern regular business hours (40 hours a week) non-exempt
Compensation: $20-$28 per hour DOE
