As General Manager II you will have full ownership of a multi-line business unit including hauling disposal recycling maintenance sales and customer experience.
Full P&L ownership driving revenue growth margin improvement and cost discipline
Lead and develop management teams across operations maintenance sales and admin
Champion GFLs Safety First culture ensuring compliance with DOT OSHA EPA and internal standards
Optimize fleet and operations including routing efficiency labor productivity asset utilization and uptime
Partner with Sales leadership to grow market share retain key customers and support municipal contracts
Drive operational excellence using KPIs dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives
Serve as the local face of GFL building relationships with municipalities regulators customers and community partners
Build a strong leadership pipeline coaching managers and preparing future leaders within GFL
7 years of progressive leadership experience in waste management environmental services transportation or logistics
Proven success leading large frontline and management teams
Strong financial and business acumen including P&L responsibility
Deep understanding of fleet maintenance routing safety and regulatory compliance
Experience operating within a large decentralized organization preferred
Strong communicator with the ability to lead change and drive accountability
