Job Summary
Apprentice Diesel Mechanic
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in the Southern region! This fulltime fouryear apprenticeship is a handson opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while working with a wide range of diesel and petrol-powered equipment used across our operations.
What youll do
- Assist with servicing diagnosing and repairing diesel engines generators outboards and machinery
- Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Support the upkeep of heavy vehicles vessels and aquaculture equipment
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and apply safe work practices
- Participate in training mentoring and apprenticeship coursework
- Work as part of a team to keep equipment running efficiently
What youll bring
- Minimum Year 10 (Year 12 preferred)
- Interest in mechanics and handson work
- Willingness to start trade qualifications and attend training
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
- Reliable safetyfocused and keen to learn
