About the Role:
Were hiring a Tech Ops Engineer to support on Day Shift 9am-5pm EST.
TechOps Engineer responsibilities:
- Responsible for system uptime and integrity of customer systems - must be capable of building and architecting systems to maintain uptime
- Documenting technical designs and creating training materials and documentation
- Monitoring daily operations including server hardware software and operating systems
- Managing installations upgrades and maintenance of deployments of Linux virtual environments such as proxmox as well as containerized environments such as docker
- Work closely with dev-ops to implement and scale-up automation of core tasks
- Ensuring protection of data assets by maintaining strict security policies and guidelines
- Testing troubleshooting and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively
- Work alongside TechOps IT staff IT Security and System Administrators
Basic requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
- Expert system administrator for Debian based distributions
- Expert in computer networks hardware support IT security and tools
- Experience with multiple hosting environments (cloud bare metal VPS)
- Experience with various Databases and SQL (MySQL preferable)
- Experience deploying and maintaining systems in cloud based environments (AWS Azure etc.)
- Highly organized self-starter and detail-oriented
- Programming and scripting skills (Python Bash Ansible)
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with emerging blockchain technologies
- Passionate about the blockchain and Crypto space
- Experience with mission-critical highly scalable systems
