Job Summary
A highly respected independent day school in Warwickshire is seeking an exceptional Teacher of History to join its established Humanities faculty from January 2026.
History is a flagship subject within the school valued for its role in developing intellectual curiosity analytical thinking and confident written expression. Pupils are highly motivated academically ambitious and genuinely engaged with the subject creating a rewarding teaching environment.
The Role
You will teach History across KS3KS5 including GCSE and A-Level. Lessons emphasise depth of understanding critical debate and extended writing with pupils encouraged to engage with historiography primary sources and independent research.
The role includes:
Teaching small academically able classes
Preparing pupils for GCSE and A-Level success
Supporting enrichment such as reading societies lectures or trips
Contributing to curriculum development within the department
