What is the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Persimmon Homes Construction Team as an Independent Quality Controller.Reporting to the Divisional Construction Compliance Manager you will play a key role in ensuring our homes meet regulatory and warranty standards before completionwith reference to the PersimmonWay.

This is primarily a site-based role across the region with some flexibility for home working when business needs allow.

Whatyoulldo asanIndependent Quality Controller

• Conduct regularquality and compliance inspections across development sites

• Produce clearaccuratereportsidentifyingrisksnon-complianceand improvement actions

• Monitor performance of subcontractors and site teams against agreed standards

• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support quality improvement

• Investigate workflow or compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented

• Work collaboratively with construction technicalcommercialand buying teams to uphold build standards

• Contribute to continuous improvement in line with the Persimmon Way

This role is about raising standards through partnership and influence not just inspection.

What experience do I need

Wereopen to candidates from a range of construction and quality-related backgrounds.

• Experience in construction quality(or related background) inspection compliance or a similar technical roleincluding residential building control social housing engineering retrofit warrantyinspectionor other regulated construction environments.

• Knowledge of UK building regulations and warranty standards (or the ability to develop this quickly)

• Relevant constructioninspectionor quality-related qualifications or equivalent practical experience

• Strong report writing and communication skills

• Confidence working independently while collaborating across multiple teams

• A proactive improvement-focused mindset
