Role Overview:
As part of PowerUP our career re-entry program we are seeking a General Project Coordinator (GPC) who is returning to professional life after a career break. You will supervise and coordinate all activities involved in the delivery and performance of biomethane plant projects from integration after acquisition through construction commissioning and operations working across the different teams within PGB.
PowerUP offers a structured onboarding phase targeted training and close collaboration with senior experts enabling you to refresh your technical regulatory and organizational knowledge and grow step by step into full end-to-end project responsibility.
This role goes beyond traditional construction or operations management. The GPC acts as the single point of coordination for the project ensuring alignment of people processes tools assets budgets timelines and compliance requirements to deliver safe efficient and profitable biomethane plants.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Coordination:
Coordinate all project success factors across all phases: integration engineering & procurement construction & commissioning ramp-up and steady-state operations.
Act as the central point of supervision for cost schedule quality safety and performance with increasing ownership during the PowerUP ramp-up phase.
Project Planning & Governance:
Maintain project execution plans schedules budgets and risk registers across teams.
Establish governance structures reporting routines and decision-making processes.
People & Resource Management:
Define staffing and resource needs across project phases.
Ensure availability of qualified personnel training and required competencies.
Foster a strong safety culture and collaborative working environment.
Tools Systems & Processes:
Apply Axpos project management tools and standards consistently.
Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Regulatory HSE & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and European regulations.
Oversee Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance.
Interface with authorities auditors and external stakeholders as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
This role is designed for professionals returning after a career break. We explicitly encourage applications from candidates who have taken time away from their career (e.g. parental leave caregiving relocation education or personal reasons) and are motivated to reenter a responsible project management role with structured support.
Degree in Engineering Industrial Management Energy or related field.
Professional experience (prior to a career break) in:
Industrial project management.
Energy biogas biomethane or process plant environments.
Managing complex multidisciplinary projects across multiple phases.
Basic understanding of:
Construction and commissioning of industrial plants.
Operational requirements and asset management.
European regulatory and permitting environments (advantage).
Key Competencies & Skills:
End-to-end project management mindset.
Willingness to refresh technical and regulatory knowledge.
Learning agility and confidence rebuilding in a complex environment.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent stakeholder and communication abilities.
Financial and commercial awareness.
Ability to manage complexity across multiple countries and cultures.
Structured pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
Fluent in English; Polish Italian or additional European languages are a strong advantage.
Willingness to travel across Europe with planning transparency and consideration for work-life integration.
